Ari’s quick fix; 2 minutes DIY beach top
I’m happy to launch today a new series on Boat People’s youtube channel and blog; Ari’s quick fix, in which I show easy adjustments you can do to with no sewing a few material involved. By this series I wish to initiate a larger audience to DIY aesthetics. This first clip is the 2 minutes beach top, a knotted crop tee-shirt made from a men’s tee.
The story behind this project is that I received a fun package from my friends at Les Loups MC, a pretty rad vintage motorcycle club based in Montreal. These passionate guys decided to share their project with the world, launching this spring a mini tee and sweatshirt release. I got a size medium shirt for men so I decided to cut the hell out of it to re-create this fun beach top. Lightweight and basic, it looks very relaxed with shorts or over a bikini.
