Art de vivre: room dividers

Posted by on oct 11, 2012 in Inspiration | 2 Comments

Living in a big open space is really a curse and a blessing when it comes to decoration. As the grand area opens up possibilities, it also lends itself to logistic organization ordeals. After doing some research, I found out several ways to create divisions in that kind of environment. Check them out below and let us know which style is your favorite!

1. Using traditional room dividers

2. Using antique doors and windows

3. Using book shelves

4. Using curtains or fabric

    Lovely little research!
I think bookshelves and curtains are my favorites.. Because I like the functionality of the bookshelves and it’s also not completely closed off. Whereas the curtains are just super romantic and cute!
The antique doors and windows are also nice, but they require some more skills to place haha

Hi Anne! I agree with you. I really like the functionality in bookshelves and curtains are indeed romantic but can also add a boho feel to a room depending on the style you go for. With skills and patience (especially that) doors and windows can be incredible too!
