Because STYLE comes in all sizes
Hi dear readers! I have been a huge fan (not to play on words) of +size blogs lately. Seeing these fabulous curvy girls with great self-esteem got me thinking, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the subject with you. My personal view is that mainstream fashion medias has got it all wrong, publishing one « plus-size » editorial per year and thinking « oh we’ve made our part, the fat girls are getting their exposure, and the wannabe skinny girls think it’s cute. We marketed this « fat » editorial into a special event… but let’s do it only once a year OK, this is NOT our standards, let the fat chicks have their own fatshion medias ». (this is not a quote!). Well, it’s time for a reality check. Girls have curves, 35% of America is overweight, and although it’s not always very healty, fat is normal, and normal IS beautiful.
To be honest, I sometimes find myself annoyed by how the « perfectly-slender-lookbook.nu-looking-girls » get the all hype in the industry’s medias, so I browsed my favorite +size blogs to share with you awesome « liquify tool-free » looks of voluptuous curves. All the images are linked to their blog, please visit them often, cause they are amazing!
A great style comes with good self-esteem, these girls can pull everything off. and we ALL can! :) Do you have any other +size blogs to share?
