Decor crush part one: Faux Taxidermy
I love the look of animal mounts hung on walls but I just can’t imagine myself having a real poor little dead beast hung up there. So for those sensitive hearts like mine there is an alternative: faux taxidermy animal heads! And since they are more of an art piece after all, some are really creative: from traditional deers to aquatic creatures, they come in multiple colors/patterns and are made out of various materials. Love it or hate it, we want to know what you think!
I think those felt guys are pretty cute too! They remind me of some “Fantastic Mr. Fox” characters.
I like the idea of using stuffed animals to make a faux mounted head.
And this guy is just so great that it looks straight out of a Jean de La Fontaine’s fable.

but I love the deers the most I think. I have a pluch deer on my wall :)
like to replace it sometime for a more realistic one though
